South Westminster Legal Advice Centre CIO is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation: this means that, like any other incorporated body (such as a company), a CIO has “legal personality” – it is a distinct entity in its own right, with the ability, amongst other things, to enter into contracts, and to hold property in its own name.
